Happy February!

I love Valentine's Day and all the pink that comes with it! This is Quinn's first Valentine party at school, so we decided to make all of her friends these cute little Valentines:
First we started with a heart-shaped cupcake pan and bits of broken crayons. We melted them in the oven at 250 degrees for about 10 minutes. When they were cooled, we popped them out easily. I also found little heart notepads at Target, so the notepads and crayons went into a treat bag. I used the cards from the Fancy Pants Love Birds line as toppers, punched holes and tied ribbon. Quinn is very excited to share these with her class!

The photo above is also my first photo for 28 Things I Love in February. It is a Flickr group I joined last year and it's going on again this year, so I had to join in! Last year I had fun coming up with shots to take and seeing the creativity of the other members. I put all of my photos into an album last year and I'm going to do the same this year. Please feel free to join in! Here's the link to the group.

Good luck with the storm, everyone! If you're lucky enough to live where the sun will be shining, don't mention it, k? :)
