Chevron Share + Giveaway Reminder

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share another chevron layout and remind you about the chevron mini-kit giveaway from Paper Issues back on this post. You have until Saturday night to enter and I'll draw a winner then from the comments. Here's the mini-kit you could win (cute, no?):

I did this layout as my first post for The Twinery using some of the newest twine colors, Flax and Shore.
For the chevron  I used my Cameo to cut a chevron background, then cut the background apart and made a new sort of chevron template. I cut my background paper into chevron strips, then roughed up the edges a bit and adhered it all back together on a piece of cardstock. I liked the subtle bit of design and dimension this gave to my layout.

Remember to link up your chevron projects this month at Paper Issues! And if you need supplies, the Paper Issues Shop has the latest releases, so why not shop there and save 20% by using the code PEARTREE when you order? :)

Oh, this is gorgeous...I love the way the chevrons gave texture to the background...and the colors all around the photo...precious!
