Picnics + Patriots at Paper Issues

Hey everyone! Summer is in full swing and that means everyone is headed to picnics, family reunions and the best summer celebration of all, the Fourth of July! Right after Christmas, Fourth of July is my favorite holiday. We always go to my hometown where there are kids' games on the courthouse lawn, music all day by local favorites and a parade in the afternoon. Everyone comes out to the festivities and has a great time!

I shared these Military thank-you cards a few weeks ago with The Twinery and Epiphany Crafts blog hop. I thought they deserved another post in honor of the Picnics and Patriots theme up at Paper Issues today. I really urge you to make some of your own- hand them out to vets and active military at your Fourth of July celebrations. Hand them out when you see a vet at the grocery store. Hand them out at church. Hand them out next Memorial Day and Veterans Day. I promise you, they'll appreciate it! :)
