Valentine Layouts with The Twinery

Today is the second day of The Twinery's Valentine Blog Celebration!  Yesterday was all about lovely little gift tags, and today features cards and layouts.

I wanted to do a layout with the pictures I took to send to family for our Valentine cards last year. Since I had a few cards left over, I just decided to put that right on the page.

At the top, I used a die cut to make a banner and used a fun combo of Pink Sorbet and Stone to put it all together.  Behind my photo are a few pieces of paper layered with a heart-shaped doily I cut with my Cameo and a red shipping tag tied with more twine. Die cuts were used for the little heart confetti up top and the photo corner.  I stitched a few skinny strips of paper across the top, too. I added the year with some Thickers, and this page was done!  With a very active 18 month old, I'm all about quick craftiness these days!

Here's a closer look at that great twine combo:

You can get your very own twine and fun Valentine Samplers right here! Head over to The Twinery's blog for more card and layout ideas. Be sure to visit throughout the rest of the week for some great home decor, party and banner projects!  Thanks so much for visiting me today!  Happy Valentine's Day!
