I heart flair. And these colors. And this layout.

I think this photo is just about  my favorite Instagram of all time- my kids reading together on the couch. I loved it in black & white and I knew right away I wanted to have it on a predominately red/black/white layout. I gathered up a bunch of supplies in red that I thought would work, including that red ampersand Ormolu flair. Then I decided the blue flair was perfect too- the color and the wording, so I pulled out some blue supplies and ended up with this pile:

I love the Heidi Swapp resist stuff, so I sprayed this large tag and wiped off the mist with a paper towel on the resist part. I originally was going to cut the tag down to a square, but I liked the spray at the top, so I just left it and went with that.  I layered some old papers from my stash (that red star paper is some of the first October Afternoon I ever owned!), added the tag & photo, then started the fun part of adding all the little bits- enamel dots, wood veneer stars, and of course the flair!

I love layouts on black- it makes everything pop! I used my Cameo for the title- what did I do before that thing?!  I think is just about my favorite instagram of all time!  Linking this one up at Paper Issues for the Lets Have a Crafting Aflair theme. :)  I love the Fact or Fiction Ormolu flair I used here- what could be more  perfect for a reading layout?!
