Hi everyone! This is the second day of the blog hop with The Twinery and Ruby Rock-it. You should have arrived here from the blog of Linda Kretz. If not, be sure to pop back there so you can leave a comment and be entered for the prizes... more on that later!
I was one lucky lady and got to work with Ruby Rock-it's Carnival King line! There are oh-so-many different elements to this line and I had fun looking through them all to decide which to use. On this layout, I used some of the papers, cards from the Project Cards pack behind my photo, and stickers from the Pockets pack. That little washi strip above the photo is actually a little sticker! The Twinery's Solid Lilac and Solid Marischino twines were a perfect match to the papers, so I tied a border of them around the top and bottom of the page. If you look close, you see that when wrapping twine around my pages, I like to use a regular paper punch to make little notches at the edges- it helps the pages fit in the the page protectors better.
Here's a close up of the confetti and fun washi sticker. I used two different sized paper punches to make the confetti, which I punched out of the fun confetti paper in the line. I will say that gluing individual pieces of confetti on is a labor of love! And could that solid twine be any more perfect of a match?!
Now, for the prize info! To be eligible for prizes, you will need to visit each blog on the hop (and will have 5 days to do so) and leave a comment. Please include your email address in the comment to help us reach you if you win. Deadline for commenting to be eligible for prizes is 11:59 EST, Friday July 12th. Winners will be announced on The Twinery & Ruby Rock-It blogs Monday, July 15th.
